Privacy Policy

Welcome to Laylah, Inc. ("Laylah," "we," and "our"). Laylah provides software and services that unify your data into a single platform, helping your business provide better insights and get closer to your customers. The "Websites" refer to Laylah's websites (including, but not limited to, www.laylah.ca, laylah.io, api.laylah.io, and any derived URLs, mobile or localized versions, and associated domains and subdomains), and the "Services" refer to Laylah's products, applications, and services, regardless of the format in which they may be offered now or in the future.

Introduction

This "Privacy Policy" is intended to inform you about the type of personal data we collect when you use our Services, why we collect this data, how it is used, and what your rights and choices are. If you do not agree with this privacy policy, do not access or use our services.

Personal Data

Personal Data You Provide

When you create a Laylah account, you must provide certain basic contact information, such as your name, email address, and phone number. If you sign up for a paid account, you will also need to provide payment information, such as payment card details (collected by our payment service provider), and other information you voluntarily add to your account profile, such as a profile photo or timezone. We will inform you at the time of requesting your Personal Data whether certain data must be provided or is optional. We will also inform you of the consequences if you choose not to provide this data. We also collect information you may choose to submit to our customer support team, for example, regarding an issue you are experiencing with our Services. This may include your contact details, a summary of the issue you are experiencing, and any other documentation or information that would be useful to resolve the issue.

Automatically Collected Data

When you interact with Laylah through the Services, we automatically collect information about you through cookies (small text files placed on your device), a mobile device identifier, and other technologies. When you visit our websites, our servers record information ("logs"), including information that your browser automatically sends each time you visit the website. This log data includes your Internet Protocol ("IP") address (from which we understand the country from which you are connecting at the time you visit the site), your browser type and settings, and the date and time of your request.

Data from Other Services Linked to Your Account

To perform tasks that are part of the Services, we ask you to integrate your third-party messaging service with your Services account. This gives us access to your one or more email accounts and the content therein. You authorize this access by accepting this privacy policy and providing any consent required by your messaging service provider. We receive information about you when you or your administrator integrate or link a third-party service to our Services. You or your administrator can also integrate other third-party services that you use with and within our Services. For example, you may authorize our Services to access and display messages from an instant messaging application or access and display files from a third-party document sharing service. The information we receive when you integrate our Services with a third-party service depends on the settings, permissions, and privacy policy associated with that third-party service. Please check the privacy settings and privacy policy of these third-party services to understand what data may be disclosed and shared with us.

Payments and Subscriptions

We use Stripe for subscription and payment management. Stripe collects device identification information for devices connecting to its services. Stripe uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us, including fraud detection. You can learn more about Stripe and view their privacy policy here.

Data Security

We take all necessary precautions, as well as appropriate organizational and technical measures, to maintain the security, integrity, and confidentiality of your Personal Data, including preventing it from being altered or damaged and preventing any unauthorized third party from accessing it. We also use secure payment systems that comply with state-of-the-art practices and applicable laws and regulations.
